General Manager
Provide strategic operations and growth leadership to managers, ensuring customer requirements and expectations are met while meeting/exceeding our Penske goals and objectives. Create and foster relationships with the customer to facilitate contract stability and vertical growth, develop tactical and strategic plans to meet profit and growth objectives, drive consistent operational performance with a focus on safety, service and cost. Ensure all operations are optimally staffed and organized to maximize performance and service delivery. Instill in the operations leadership team and associates that safe performance is a critical element required to achieve success and are recognized as an indicator of individual and team effectiveness. Ability to build relationships throughout the customers business, proactively communicate and proactively engage with the customer to drive change.
Desired Skills & Experience
Project Management, including the ability to start-up and/or closedown experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management required;
- 10 – 15 years related functional experience as well as P&L responsibility;
- 5 – 8 years managerial experience, including Safety, HR, Financial programs;
- Customer Relationship management, including business growth experience.
