Interim Finance Manager, Basingstoke / UK
A large Blue Chip client based just outside Basingstoke is looking to recruit an interim Finance Manager on a 3 month contract to support the Supply Chain teams, focussing on the logistics elements.
Working with the the operational team you will be supporting business case development, meeting finance requirements (forecasts and month end) and pulling analysis together.
Key duties
• Inform the business on monthly performance, working with Shared Services ensuring Business cycle works smoothly;
• Preparation and challenge of all the business financial plans (LRP, budget, forecast and outlooks);
• Identification and financial preparation of cash enhancement opportunities;
• Challenging the financial status quo through insight and strategic thinking and providing decision making capabilities;
• Completion and/or commercial review of all investment opportunities/business cases and tracking of costs and benefits
You will be a qualified accountant with hands on experience of monthly reporting and liaising with operational teams.
