An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and committed Port Captain to work for a leading international dry bulk operator and ocean carrier.
The successful Port Captain will be responsible coordinating and managing all operations. Additional responsibilities will include:
• Managing loading and unloading of cargo
• Look after stowage plans
• Contract management, reviewing and renegotiating
• Working closely with Container Terminal and Stevedoring companies to ensure smooth running of all operations
Personal requirements:
• Must have a strong background within the Shipping industry
• Previous experience of working as a Port Captain is highly desirable
• Experience of working in West Africa is highly desirable
• Fluency in English is a must
